Phillipsburg (Warren County)

CGP&H has secured over $5 million dollars in grant funding for various projects in the Town’s Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ).

Funds have been used for streetscape improvements in the downtown business district, restoration of the historic train station to develop a local small business loan program, and to boost the local housing rehabilitation program.

CGP&H also secured an Economic Development Grant to be used to help bring a major industrial employer into Phillipsburg, providing needed employment and ratables within a previously abandoned industrial site.  In addition, over $3 million in federal funds were secured to develop infrastructure within the Town’s largest brownfield/redevelopment area. This effort leveraged a multimillion dollar private sector investment and brought needed ratables to the Town from the blighted industrial tract.
