Palmyra Borough (Burlington County)

Since 2000, CGP&H has secured over seven $7 million dollars in grant funding for various local projects in Palmyra.

Funds have been used for environmental investigation and clean up of a 190-acre brownfield site, streetscape improvements throughout the Borough’s downtown business district, construction of a municipal parking lot and bikeway, crosswalk improvements as well as acquisition money to expand the existing park system.

Funds were also obtained for Palmyra to develop a municipally-operated housing rehabilitation program. CGP&H has administered a couple of program years of Small Cities funds and two separate RCA programs, for a combined total of 95 units.

In addition, significant planning funds were secured to aid in the redevelopment of a 190-acre brownfield site and to revitalize the downtown district.
